OVERVIEW.
Magic: The Gathering needed a compact retail display to support a Secret Lair promotion and distribute promotional materials to customers in-store. I helped develop a counter-mounted sign that combined a bold, graphic-forward presentation with concealed storage for promotional envelopes, allowing store staff to keep giveaways organized and easily accessible behind the counter. The design used the distinctive visual language of Secret Lair to create a strong point of interest within the retail environment while keeping the overall footprint simple and functional. 3D modeling and renderings were used to explore the display’s proportions, graphic placement, construction, and presentation before production.
